Volunteering doesn’t have to mean a huge time commitment. We understand it is increasingly more difficult to find time to give, but please, whatever your time schedule allows, we have need of you. We even have tasks that can be performed in the evenings, during the day or that don’t even involve coming to the school at all.

We are excited to launch the Power of 3 Volunteer Pledge Program this year. We believe that everyone benefits if each parent can give at least 3 hours per semester by volunteering in some capacity. We will award prizes to the class with the most volunteers for upper and lower grades. When you volunteer, be sure to sign the volunteer book in the office. Every 3 hours you volunteer, your child’s class earns a point. We challenge you to VOLUNTEER UP! by submitting our Volunteer Form. Below is a list of some of our volunteer opportunities.

Parent Night – Help is needed in many areas to make this successful.

Carnival – Help be part of our planning committee OR help us set up earlier that day.

Community Service – Help organize the fall collection of donated food to distribute to the less fortunate within our school and district (aka our Red Bucket Campaign) as well as assist in a spring service project.

Crossing Guard – 30 minute shifts either before or after school helping our children cross the busy streets safely.

Hospitality – Help in hosting events to honor our teachers and staff.

Rewards Shopping – Help count Box Tops.

Snack Bar – Work in the snack bar during home games.

Spirit Wear – Help distribute spirit wear throughout the year.

Volunteer Up!

If we can get every Maple Creek parent to volunteer just 3 hours per semester, we can do amazing things for our kids and our school. Will you please take the 3 Hour a semester Involvement Pledge?
